Introducing an innovative new partnership and grant program, funded by Town of Truckee, in partnership with Landing Locals, which offers qualifying Truckee property owners up to $3k to convert their homes into long-term rentals for local employees.

How it works:

  1. Truckee property owners can earn a $3,000 grant for converting their properties to a long-term (12 month+) rental.
  2. To qualify they (homeowners) must rent to a local employee (located within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District geographic borders) whose household earns no more than to 120% of the area median income (AMI). For a related, family of two in Nevada County, this equates to no more than $88,700 annual combined income.
  3. As part of the program, Landing Locals will provide property owners free tenant screening services
