Local Employment Preference

Landing Locals seeks to preserve a thriving middle class in vacation towns by helping the local workforce secure housing. We do this by connecting homeowners with vetted locals through our trusted online platform.

For properties listed on our platform, we give preference to renters who are locally employed. To determine priority, we have developed a three-tier system to ensure that the majority of our rentals are leased to local employees.

Tier 1: Locally employed
At least one member of the household has local employment and either lives in the region, is trying to move closer to where they work, or is moving to the region for a new job.

Tier 2: Established in the region, working remotely
Have already established the region as their primary residence and have remote employment.

Tier 3: Moving to the region and working remotely
Moving to the region long-term and have remote employment.
